Returns & Exchanges

At Chic the Collection, we take pride in offering the best quality clothing and providing superb service to our customers. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for some reason there is an issue with your purchase, we have flexible return options to ensure your experience with Chic the Collection is a good one. 

Our Returns Policy

If you have changed your mind, chosen the wrong size or colour,  we are more than happy to offer you store credit for the purchase amount (in the form of a gift voucher) for the item/s. This will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date we receive the request. 

Any return requests need to be made within 14 days from the date of purchase. Items can only be returned to us if they are in their original condition, packaging and is unused*. If we receive items that look like they have been worn or that is not in their original condition, we will not be able to refund you and the item/s will be sent back to you.

International Returnsinternational purchases are not available for exchange. Should you be unhappy with your purchase, you can return the item to our Australian address for a refund of the cost of the item/s only. Chic Maternity will not be held responsible for return shipping costs to Australia.  

Returning Sale Items

We accept returns on sale items, provided that they are in their original condition, packaging and is unused*. You will receive store credit in the amount paid for the sale item (not the full price of the item). 

How to Return an Item

 To return your item, please follow the steps below to ensure your return is processed in a timely manner:

1. Include a returns form with the items that you would like to return, a returns form can be downloaded by clicking HERE.

2. Post the items you would like to return including the original invoice and the returns form to our address below:

We strongly recommend that you use a traceable delivery method for all returns. It is the customers responsibility for the return of the item/s until it reaches our warehouse, including all postage costs. Chic the Collection will not be held responsible for any parcels that may have been lost or damaged whilst being returned to us. 

Returning an Incorrect or Faulty Item

If you have received an incorrect or faulty item, then we will gladly provide you with a full refund. If you have received an incorrect or faulty item, then please email us at to let us know the details. 

Please provide your invoice number, date of purchase and the style number of the item that is incorrect or faulty. We will then mail you a prepaid express post bag so you can return the item to us. Once we have received the item, we will provide you with a full refund. Alternatively you can choose to receive store credit.


We cannot guarantee that we will have the size or colour in stock to offer an exchange request; therefore if you would like an exchange, we will follow the procedures mentioned above and issue you with store credit in the form of a gift voucher, once the return has been processed. The gift voucher can then be used to order a different size or colour if and when available. 

Store Credit

Store credit will be issued in the form of a Chic the Collection gift voucher. Once a return is processed, we will automatically email you with a gift voucher for the amount of the item returned. The gift voucher expires after 12 months and can be used at the checkout when you return to order another item. 

*Returning Items in Original Condition

As mentioned above, we will only accept returns on items that are in their original condition and packaging, this means that the item/s must: 

  • Be unworn
  • Be unwashed
  • Have all tags and labels attached
  • In their original bag

Items that we receive that do not follow the above guidelines cannot be processed and will be returned to the sender. Please ensure you take extra care when you receive the products and try them on immediately, just in case you need to return it.
